That Maria Bello and Mariska Hargitay will auction off chances to visit the sets of their NBC series, “Prime Suspect” and “Law & Order: SVU,” at a Hamptons for Haiti brunch Sunday at the Ross School in East Hampton. Expected guests include Kiefer Sutherland, Donna Karan, Doug Lyman and Cristina Cuomo.

East Hampton – On Sunday, July 17 from 12 noon to 3 p.m., Maria Bello, Mariska Hargitay, Keifer Sutherland, Donna Karan, Cristina Ross, Elizabeth Jordan, Clare Munn, Sonja Nuttal, Leslee Feldman, Brian Doug Lyman, Jean Shafiroff, Fisher Stevens, Terry Quinn, Courtney Ross, Beth O’Donnell, Alison Thompson, Kristine Szabo, Andrew Saffir, Amanda Patricia Velasquez, Marc Baptiste, and Ross Bleckner are just some of the stars to appear at “The Hamptons For Haiti” fundraiser to be held at the Ross School. The event will feature a cocktail brunch and a live auction featuring walk-on roles on many of today’s hottest primetime shows. There will also be a musical performance by The Diva Barbara Guillaume all to raise funds to benefit We Advance and Global Dirt, two not-for-profits that are dedicated to making a difference in Haiti.

“All proceeds will go to We Advance and Global Dirt, two Haiti organizations that work side by side” said Thompson, one of the founders, along with Bello, of We Advance, and author of “Third Wave” a book about volunteering. “We Advance focuses on gender-based violence, with an emphasis on educating and empowering rape victims and the children of Haiti, while Global Dirt’s mission is to buy an ambulance and mobilize a 911 rescue service that is very much needed.”

Tickets start at $275 for the Bronze level which is basic admission; the $500 Silver level features admission plus a gift bag brimming with great and wonderful items; while Gold gets you into the VIP area with access to the Stars plus the gift bag! Purchase tickets online. Everyone will take home a copy of “Third Wave,” Allison Thompson’s inspiring book based upon her experiences.

Co-founded by activist and actor, Bello, We Advance is a movement to advance the health, safety, and well being of women throughout Haiti. We work in some of the poorest slums in all of the western hemisphere, Wharf Jeremy and Cité Soleil, where security issues deter the work of most international NGOs. We start from the bottom because it’s where we are needed the most and, as co-founder and activist, Barbara Guillaume, says “If we can change the worst of Haiti we can change all of Haiti.”

Here’s a little blurb of Debra Messing talking about Mariska. You can read the full article here.

Among the evening’s guests were actress Debra Messing, who revealed “Mariska is my best friend and I’m very proud of the wonderful work that she does for the Joyful Heart Foundation, and also that she is receiving this award from The Retreat for such an important organization that she has shown such support for.”

I also added a few more pictures from the event if you haven’t already seen them here.

Also today is Mariska and Peter’s son, August’s 5th birthday. I just want to wish him a very happy birthday!

Here’s a little blurb about Mariska from an interview Chris did with NYmag.com.

As for how he feels about his departure from Law & Order: SVU after twelve seasons, he told us, “I feel very blessed to have been a part of it … I loved the people, every person. I loved going to work. And yet with all that, we did the best we could to try to make things work for everyone, and in the end it was just better for me to keep moving and I have no regrets.” How does his co-star Mariska Hargitay feel about it? “I think she’s a little sad, as am I. You know, I don’t know if there’s been any other duo for twelve years on TV.”

I also added one picture from the Artists Against Abuse Gala honoring Mariska from Countess LuAnn’s facebook page. If I find anymore I’ll be sure to post them!

Mariska Hargitay shows off photos of new baby Amaya Josephine to longtime pal Mario Batali during the Food Bank For NYC’s Can-Do Awards Gala held Thursday at Abigail Kirsch’s Pier Sixty.

“Isn’t she adorable?” the actress, 47, says.

She continues beaming as she makes her way down the orange carpet. How’s the little one she adopted last week?

“Dreamy!” she says, giving a thumbs up.

Amaya joins a family that includes Mariska’s son August, 4, and hubby Peter Hermann, 43, whom she wed in 2004.

“She’s a perfect mom,” Mario says. “August, her first son, is a spectacularly brilliant little kid. Her husband, Peter, is delightful. You can tell when people have happy kids. They’re smart, they’re creative, they’re thoughtful, they’re curious. They cry, too.”

While the adoption announcement may have been a surprise to the public, Law and Order: SVU co-star Chris Meloni knew all about it in advance.

“I saw her before [she got her], and she was a little stressy-stressy, but it all worked out, so it was a happy ending,” he says.

Although he has no plans to meet little Amaya right now, he looks forward to getting to know her daughter.

“I just hope I don’t meet her while I’m trying to take a nap in my dressing room,” he laughs.

When it comes to a present for the baby, Chris says he’s still mulling the gift.

“You want to make it unique and not a cliché,” he tells me.

According to Chris, balancing a career, motherhood and charity work with her Joyful Heart Foundation comes easy for Mariska.

“Having 42 assistants helps,” he jokes. “She’s going to be great. She’s a woman, a person, who possesses a lot of love. She’s extraordinarily intelligent. I think she understands human behavior. She has endless patience.”

And if she ever needs any additional help, Mario will be there in a second. (She recently cooked for him – a “delicious” steak with asparagus.)

“I want to move in with her,” he jokes. “I’ll help her with the baby, too. But she’s got a great husband.”

Mariska heads inside the event for ten minutes, where she enjoys a drink, and heads back home to be with her expanded family.

Mariska Hargitay was on hand at the Museum of the Moving Image salute to Alec Baldwin on Feb. 28 in New York in a decadent Carolina Herrera gown.

The “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” stunner chose the frock from the designer’s Spring 2011 collection and added a simple black Nancy Gonzales clutch and Verdura jewelry.

The intricate Korean-inspired dress — which featured embroidery and printed details — was belted with a traditional obi-like belt.

The event was packed with some of Hollywood’s funny faces: Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon, Ben Stiller, Richard Gere, and Kristen Wiig were amongst the stars who honored the “30 Rock” star, who recently celebrated success at the SAG Awards.

In related news, the actress admits she’s addicted to a unique pasta dish.
