I uploaded two videos from the 1997 Fire & Ice Ball red carpet, Nancy McKeon and Mariska being interviewed at the Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls Premiere, and a video from the Stars for a Cause Auction from a years ago. Mariska doesn’t appear in the video but Ellen Hargitay does. Mariska’s portrait will be personalized by her to the winning bidder. It’s a cute video!

Also, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who submitted birthday messages so far. I’ve received a lot of messages and even drawings, so we’re off to a good start! I’ll post pictures of the book and what I have for it, probably in a few days. I haven’t started to put it together yet though, I’m going to wait until it gets closer to the due date so that way I have an idea of how many people contributed. If you haven’t sent in a message yet what are you waiting for 😉 Click here to fill out the form! I’m very excited about this and I’ll keep you guys updated!

Anyway, here are the videos. Enjoy!

In case you missed it (like me) or just want to see it again, here’s the video from the Violence Against Women Event. Mariska doesn’t speak in the video but you can see her a few times in the audience. It’s definitely worth watching!

I also added a few screen captures below.

I also updated the gallery with more photos from the event here.

And last but not least here is the promo for “Trophy.”

The first round of People’s Choice Awards were announced today and Mariska is in the running for Favorite TV Crime Fighter. Chris is also nominated in the same category so vote for him as well. SVU is also nominated for Favorite TV Crime Drama. You can vote for up to five nominees. You can vote here.

Stars love baked treats, too. Here’s a recipe that celebrity chef Bethenny Frankel (pictured at left, with Mariska Hargitay) whipped up for the “Law and Order: SVU” star: Joyful Heart Fudge Chip Muffins—named for Hargitay’s Joyful Heart Foundation, which helps sexual assault survivors heal mind, body, and spirit.

Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 20 minutes
Makes 8 muffins

Cooking spray
1 cup applesauce
1 teaspoon canola oil
1/2 cup turbinado sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 cup oat flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup semisweet dairy- and gluten-free chocolate chips (such as Sunspire)
Powdered sugar (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350°. Place 8 paper liners in muffin tin; coat with cooking spray.

2. Combine applesauce and next 4 ingredients. In a sepa-rate bowl, whisk together the next 6 ingredients. Add oat mixture to applesauce mixture; stir until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

3. Spoon batter into muffin cups. Bake for 20–22 minutes, rotating the pan a half-turn after 10 minutes. Muffins are done when tops are firm to the touch.

4. Cool slightly. Top with powdered sugar, if desired. (Serving size: 1 muffin)
