The 25th Annual Gotham Awards has recruited some of Hollywood’s biggest names for an evening in the Big Apple, as Julianne Moore, Robert De Niro, Mariska Hargitay, Alejandro Iñárritu and Dan Rather have been announced as presenters.

Put on by the Independent Filmmaker Project, the evening will present ten competitive categories in addition to tribute prizes for Helen Mirren and Robert Redford, director Todd Haynes and “The Revenant” producer Steve Golin.

Additional presenters at the Nov. 30 ceremony include Glenn Close, Topher Grace, Harvey Keitel, Sarah Paulson, Rosie Perez, Michael Shannon and director Julie Taymor, to be hosted at Wall Street staple Cipriani.

The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) is pleased to announce the 2014 national winners of the 39th Annual Gracie Awards. The awards will be presented at a black-tie Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Local market, public, digital and student award winners will be announced later this week and will be recognized at the Gracies Awards Luncheon on June 11, 2014 in New York.

In preparation for the awards Gala, Gracie Award statues are being engraved for such accomplished women such as Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project), Jane Fonda (The Newsroom), Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU) and Robin Roberts (Good Morning America), and in recognition of such dynamic programming and talent as ABC’s Scandal, CBS News’s 60 Minutes, SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Julia Cunningham, Warner Horizon Television/NBC’s The Voice, TBS/Cougar Town’s Christa Miller, OWN’s Oprah’s Lifeclass, CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux, HBO’s Veep and BBC America/Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany — representing a broad cross-section of outstanding actors, reporters, stories and programs. Mariska Hargitay introduces the film clip from Law & Order: SVU “Justice Denied,” at the Justice for All Awards Dinner 2013. The episode educated thousands of viewers about false confession and wrongful conviction. Stuart Feldman was the screenwriter for “Justice Denied” and accepted NCIP’s 2013 Media Award for his important work.
